Ecoluxea was born from love and a deep desire to live with intention.
Every day, more people around the world are being diagnosed with cancer, and research continues to show that our environment and lifestyle play a significant role in that rise. From what we eat to what we apply on our skin, the choices we make daily truly matter.
Having experienced the pain of losing someone to cancer, I’ve become incredibly mindful of how I live, especially what I put in and on my body. But I soon realized that while we can control what we consume, it’s much harder to navigate what we absorb through products like fragrance, something so personal and emotionally tied to who we are.
Many traditional perfumes don’t fully disclose their ingredients, leaving consumers in the dark. Studies have shown that some commonly used compounds like phthalates and certain synthetic musks have been linked to hormone disruption and, in some cases, potential carcinogenic effects. For someone like me, who’s lived through the trauma of loss, that uncertainty feels like a risk I can’t afford.
So my partner and I created Ecoluxea.
